Honda transmissions are so nice, then immediately follow up with "they're great to learn on". It's as if they're saying I have a beginners car because I hate shitty transmissions.

I learned on my e36, and hell, I wish I learned on a car with an even shittier one.

My favorite is when they follow up "...so great to learn on" with "its an automatic."

What exactly are you learning sir? The difference between D and R?

Probably has something to do with the clutch, definitely lighter than a lot of other cars on the market. I had a 99 Civic and an 01 Preldue with the 5spd, the clutch is a lot lighter than the Mustangs I've had.

That's generally because they are easy to manipulate and cheap to fix when you screw up. There's also the matter of the cars being very simple to drive and easy to learn the transmissions on. Depending on what Honda/Acura it is, it may very well be a good beginners car. You can't really be mad if they are factually correct.

Say what you will about Honda's, but darn if they don't have some of the best shifter feel. It's crazy.

Sheesh, that was a decade ago. I got hooked on V8s I think, I traded it for a new 2003 Mustang GT (not the one I have now).
